games stayover at junyang's over the weekend after DF was fun,if not for that fact tt i slept way too early after checking my mail etc. cos i was just super tired.either tt or nicky is just sleep-inducing.i <3 games comm!

DF was good effort by all houses!i have very imba and talented friends,make me very happy haha.really,there are such good theater people in rj.but thanks shana for tolerating me(or rather,my absence)all along too.sneaked in to watch with the two pretty mels.didnt see MR's but in the end,they won yet again with their tight ensemble,or so i heard.but good job BW!joseph's such a pimp la pls!sarah+auyong+daryl+ally+walter+shujean and all those who put up the awesome show,well done!of course,the backstage loves like weiyuan,yonghan,augie deserve appreciation too XD

interviews have finally concluded on saturday.now its deliberations hardcore!we'll stay over in sch this weekend to finalize nominees.exciting stuff!a rite of passage for us :) we are really taking concrete steps toward our stepping down and as with all amazing journeys coming to an end,there's a great deal of emotional ambivalence.you are thankful and filled with gratitude that you've blessed enough to have been on such an amazing journey,but at the same time,you cant help but feel the overwhelming sense of loss and slight emptiness at the end of it all.

haiyah i shall just go with the flow and immerse and enjoy the present moments (: simpler that way!

ah saturday was also when sis flew off to shanghai for her exchange at fu dan university.i miss you,jie.it's kinda unbelievable my sis and i are really big boys and girls now!gave her some emo cards spammed with photos and all,brought back really sweet memories of our childhood.at the departure gate was the first time my eyes felt really heavy.but no,we didnt cry but only hugged cause WE ARE BIG BOYZ AND GIRLZ NOW.haha i love u sis,take care in shanghai and MSN LIVE FTW :) technology really shrinks the world man.

it was investiture galore this whole week.went for vs and rg ones last thurs and fri respectively.and ri pb's tmr.its always heartwarming to go back to vs and know that no matter what changes,some things dont change (: rg sli was great stuff too.i thought vs should have some of the fun side of rg sli like with student grps putting up random performances etc.

O2 was basically for T'oing to reacquaint since i told ocomm i didnt want 2nd intakers.in retrospect,it was a gross mistake.i regretted la cos i feel we could have really helped some helpless 2nd intakers transit into rjc better since my og is such lovelies.ohwell.

exco has lo hei after O2 since it was the last day of CNY and it was v fun.ms hor is one of the bestest teachers arnd man!dunno how much she has spent on council all this while.the indecent amount of salmon was much appreciated yo.so yeah,happy CNY and as we always go during lo hei,hope its gonna be a better year for all!not for me in the academic sense for now,though.will have to get some hardcore mugging done like SOON if not i'll just die when CTs come.

gave our first thingsyoucando environment talk at unity sec today and it was certainly an experience no less.i was super tired so i pangseh tennis buddies and came home and slept till 10 plus.mom bought pretty nice prawn mee and i am finally done with my lit essay now.gonna go read chua beng huat now and sleep.

students council symposium (SCS2008) has finally come and gone!rather successfully,i'ld say.so thats a thumbs up.it was really youthful exuberance that exco decided to go ahead with this super unplanned and rushed affair.thank god it definitely looked fruitful and fun.well,we certainly had lots of fun organizing it and haha laughing endlessly at certain stuff.which was kinda mean on our part but ah well hahaha cant help it!hopefully the 28ths can expand upon this inaugural thing and make it better,bigger!

nicky and i went to yilin's bday dinner on sunday and for a rare instance,i was very generous with my present!how can i not be when its the 19th bday of the world's best cousin <3 you are loved no matter what you think and what happens yo.

talking about birthdays,happy belated to queen latifah shiraj,george,adrian,ben,xue qian(today),hweeleong(tmr!)and yingying(you're legal and im really glad for this special friendship,girl! :D)!!

and when chinese new year festivity came,i was a very happy boy!i love cny manz.not just because of the legitimate buying of slightly more expensive clothes!of course tts exciting in itself haha.reunion dinner at chinatown was great!went over to ningxia's house after the dinner and counted down tgt with some cny show on telly.last year reunion dinner was at furama hotel with the same set of people so it reminded me HOLY COW A YEAR,JOHN,A YEAR HAS GONE PAST YET AGAIN!!

seeing my relatives and spending time with my cousins/nieces/nephews are things i've come to appreciate more and more each year.and this yr even more special as on day 1 of lunar new yr,almost all the cousins + nieces + nephews went out together!its my first movie with many of them so even though the show wasnt imba(pls dont go watch kungfu dunk even though i really like jay chou's songs too!it is plotless lor),i really liked the outing to cathay with them.to top it all off,our movie tickets were courtesy of mei lee jiejie!

day 2 was at yilin's motherbig house.and i visited seth's place too in the afternoon before going to my father's side for more yummy delicious palatable gastronomical dinner.cny is also a lot about eat,drink and make merry eh.good i like!went back to yilin's place for even more yummy dinner and den rather american lifestyle like,we decided to crash nicky's place thinking there'll be lots of big ang pows there.to our utter disappointment upon arriving,there was only the lovely pple from decor comm there playing poker!haha but all's good as we had a fun time in his beautiful crib eating and camwhoring a bit.

after tt was sentosa-loving!aaron's parents have a free night stay at the amara resorts there so he got all of us over and it was a super memorable cny day 2 spent on sentosa island!my first cny like tt.haha gambled a lot and i won quite a bit!hooray i learnt how to play texas poker too :) dom liankai and i went to walk arnd the dark island at about 3plus am and boy did we walk man.walked all the way to tanjong beach where we sat at those beach chairs of the cafe for like hours till it was almost daylight!i was kinda shagged by den man.we did silly stuff like peeing in the ocean and going to the southernmost point of continental asia talking about indian making out.haha we left our imprint in the form of a mega dick on the beach too LAWLZ.

day3 was at my father's side where i ate the world's best dark sauced pork.my grandma is imba in her cooking skills man.cabbed down to mother's side at yio chu kang and tried my hands on this game called "in-between" which is a super exciting game!!but i didnt win much this time round and in fact lost a bit ):

went off after a while as i was having cny reunion dinner + bday celebrations dinner w the vs guys at paragon.this is our 3rd cny dinner i think!same place too haha.it was george's actual day so its more special :) after dinner we went to the istana park and seriously lepaked.made a fool of ourselves and certain body parts before going down to east coast for drinks and supper.and as i didnt bring my keys out i decided to stay at jarren's since mom was asleep by then.

on sunday some of us went to vs and mug.this time round it felt a tad more special den my previous times of going back cos i havent been back in 5 months since emd in sept.it is a bit surreal as i recalled how this was the place i used to come to every single day.how life brings us to different places constantly huh.left with daniel about 9plus and got ready for classes the next day.

the past week has just been take5 prep and some elections stuff like noms mtg.ah i have to say man the noms mtg i was kinda pissed cos some of the j1s were so noisy lor.i admit my face was completely stern and irritating when i went around getting the noisy ones to shut up.reminded me of myself during ltc in sec3.

valentines day was spent with take5 performers and comm at pasir ris park HOW ROMANTIC.but mr. ortega says "it comes with territory" and it left quite a deep mark in me.yup.i shall rmb this line whenever i feel sian about working.rehearsals ended real late and stuart and i ended up mtg daryl,augie and sly(our fellow lonely <3s guys) at PS at 10.went to bk for dinner and haha at least we have each other for company during this sad and lonely valentine's day 2008.we promise to do this more often.it's always good knowing new nice pple.yeah so happy valentine's day boyz and gurlz.XOXO

it is not too good to be over sensitive and imaginative.and it is also not good to think too much.sometimes taking things at face value is the best way to see things.i tend to complicate matters with my mind.ignorance is bliss?and studying great gatsby makes all of us sad and contemplative,as we see parallels upon parallels.oh well.but i think things will eventually balance out.
